100 Days of Code - Chicago Edition

Have you heard about 100 Days of Code?

The premise behind this challenge is to dedicate one hour every single day (outside of any coding you must do for work/school/etc) to coding for 100 days. This could be learning coding, trying out a new technology, or working on a side project. For accountability, people who participate in the challenge tweet their daily accomplishments with the tag #100daysofcode. I think it would also be a great idea if we started the challenge together and helped each other stay accountable!

Let me know what you think and we’ll pick an official day to kick off the challenge!

I’d be willing to participate. Maybe we can plan for a ramp up period to go through the next steps listed on the official website. A week ramp up leading to the start date would allow for time to go through some of the resources there and figure out what project/goal would be worked on during the 100 days of code.

I’m up for the challenge. I just started working on a new project that I’d like to have some motivation for.
