A tag should have an href attribute set to "#footer" - IT DOES!

Tell us what’s happening:

Unsure what to do next as my coding looks exactly the same as the hint video but it keeps saying the 'a tag should have an href attribute set to “#footer”.

Can anyone please enlighten me as to where I’m going wrong?

you need to post your actual code here for help! when you post, use the </> button on the editor bar and it’ll let you paste your html in between the tags it enters… that’ll display the code, not the output for us to look it!

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.
