Just finished my first project! I appreciate all types of feedback either good or bad. I really enjoyed this project since its about one of my favorite singers, Chester Bennington. I hope you guys like it!

Welcome to the forums @ltommylel. Your page looks good. Some things to revisit;

  • Codepen provides the boilerplate for you. It only expects the code you’d put within the body element in HTML. (No need to include the body tags). For anything you want to add to the <head> element click on the ‘Settings’ button, then HTML and add it into the ‘Stuff for <head>’ box.
    • You have elements out of order. Everything the browser renders belong in the body element. Everything in your main element, including the main element, belongs inside the body element.
  • When you fix the above, run your HTML code through the W3C validator.
    • Since copy/paste from codepen you can ignore the first warning and first two errors.
    • There is a small HTML coding error/typo you should be aware of and address.
  • Review the lesson about giving meaningful text to links.

Thank you so much Roma for reviewing my code! I went through the code again and fixed all the errors that showed up on W3C validator. Thank you also for introducing me to W3C validator to help me debug my code. It’s going to be useful for my next project.
