Please, I want to know, what does the ‘#’ before the value ‘student-info’ mean?
The # refers to an element in the same page, if you have a section with the id of student info and in the href put the ref as #student-info when you click it instead to send you to an external page you will desplace to the zone of the page in which that section is. This is very useful when you have a large page and navigating with scrolling is tedius, you only click in the nav link and go to that part of the page.
I made a quick codepen as example: codepen
Thank you very much jesusMAes. It was really helpfull.
