I’m pretty sure the answer may be obvious, but once I finish up on a certificate and have it approved, can I continually update on the projects correlating to the certificates? And is it a good idea when it comes to job searching as like a “resume” to my skills as a programmer?
You can update new projects using the same way you submitted them the first time (run the tests, then press the “Submit” button in the modal)
Instead of updating the projects on freeCodeCamp, you would better hosting the projects on github pages or something like that if you want to showcase them
You’re welcome to keep updating and submitting your projects, but as Ilena said it makes more sense to keep working on your own version without worrying about re-submitting them. Keep building in whatever way excites you, rather than the original assignment.
I would not put freeCodeCamp projects or any other “homework” project from a course on your resume. In my experience, this is more likely to harm you than help you. Include projects that you designed and built on your own to showcase your skills and experience.
