About a year ago I moved to a new country, started everything from zero and began learning to code (I came from a non-CS background). Two bootcamps, countless hours of self-studying, and tons of meetups later, today, I was offered a junior position by the company I’ve been doing internship with.
It’s been such a roller coaster ride. There were days where I felt invincible and just got stuff done one thing after another; there were also days where self-doubt was crushing and I was getting rejected left, right, and center. Now I get to work with a group of awesome and lovely developers, learning as I work everyday. I’m really excited to continue this journey, explore further, and see where this takes me.
