Add a Submit Button to a Form no submit work it tells me to use submit

Tell us what’s happening:
I put in the submit button but it tells me its not the submit button.

The problem is that the tag “button” is not what you should use, check and try again.

@its-personal, that looks correct. What does the error say exactly?
And are you using Chrome?

@LoneWanderer this is from a lesson so they are doing the lesson correctly, giving what is asked for. Also, when a user is doing a lesson we don’t paste the answers in. Instead we try and guide them to help them learn. Thanks for understanding.

Replace your button tag “Submit” with an input tag as follows

it says that the submit button in black doesn’t appear to the lesson as submit so when i run the test it eill say it needs to be named submit when it is. And yes im using chrome.

It seems like you’re missing name attribute.

The challenge does not require the name attribute to be used.

@its-personal Strange, the code you’ve posted works from my PC.

@its-personal, click on the Reset All Code button and then type in your answer again and run the test.
I understand a lot have given opinions but the answer you typed in initially, from your code at the top of the page, is correct and should work. I tried it on mine and it worked.

Just out of curiosity, are you on a laptop, desktop? Windows or Mac?

Im using my chromebook provided by the school. i am very intrested in coding and looking to get good for a chance to maybe get a dev job one day.Also ive already tried the reset thing.didn’t work
