Hopefully you are going back to that lesson that another user linked to learn/relearn.

But I believe it is asking for the footer element to have an id of footer.

so add: id=“footer” into the footer element. < footer id=“footer” > (no spaces before/after the carrots). Sorry I’m still learning how to show code in the forums.

If I put like that, there will be 2 footer tag so it’s not gonna work

no, you need to add the id to the existing element, not create a new footer element

In your footer tag you can put both your href and id, just put a space between them. Keep them both inside the footer tag. You could also add a class in the same way.
