I have added my attribute but it keeps saying my attribute is empty.

Either use double quotes (") or single quotes (') but don’t use two single quotes in a row in place of a double quote (''). It is not the same thing. It is confusing the hell out of the interpreter.

When I fix that, your code passes for me.
