I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>
) to add backticks around text.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).
Hi @eosemudiamen990!
Always make sure to include the lessons link in your topic so people know what challenge you are working on. When you have questions on challenges use the ask for help button in the challenge.
A few issues.
There is a typo in the url. Make sure to copy and paste the url exactly.
You have quotes outside of the img tag. So I don’t if that was just a mistake when you entered your code in the forum but it shouldn’t be there.
Hope that helps!
I am using an iPhone 6 ‘ that is the only quote symbol i have
If you are using a mobile device, the default keyboard does not always play well with the freeCodeCamp editor. I recommend you read the article on using a mobile device to view some tips - most importantly, check out the coding keyboards listed as they interface with the editor well.
Are u there I only have that symbol can i use this (</>) instead
I read it the app isn’t available in my country
Checked * it on my app store they said it isn’t available in my country are you there
Well if you have gone through all of the suggestions mentioned in the article and it is not working for you then maybe you could move to another device or move to the next challenge. But you might still be experiencing difficulties with further challenges.
However, you just created a new post for another challenge and the quotes weren’t an issue there because they were the right ones. Whatever you did for that challenge it worked with the quotes.
