I took some Basic, Cobol and Fortran classes when I was in school back in the 80’s, but I’ve forgotten all that long ago.
What advice can you give a complete beginner on which course to start with to try to learn the fundamentals?
Thanks!

Hey there buddy.
I do not know which part of Computer Technology you’re interested in. I’m into Software Engineering and that is what I’ll give some guidance about.
You can start with the FCC Responsive Web Design course, where you’ll gain basic, intermediate and advanced CSS and HTML skills. For me, I decided to follow the curriculum from top to bottom. I also use other platforms, the FCC Youtube channel, some sites other online courses…but this shouldn’t worry you, once you start the Responsive Web Design course and interact with folks in the forum, you’ll be guided adequately.
Let me attach a link here about some Tech careers roadmaps. If what you want is there, you’ll see a roadmap to start you off.
Thank you for sharing the link. That will be a great help for someone who is just starting.
