Hi , im completely new to the coding world and am curious on how i should study.
In terms of writing down lessons and things i learn , or should i just continue with the courses and doing as much as i can?
What have any other first timers done to maximise learning this information>
Thanks
HI @nathanboss3 !
I would highly suggest watching Quincy’s videos here from the full stack cert on good learning habits.
If you are doing the full stack cert, then there are review pages after each module. So you can refer back to those notes. But if want to take notes for yourself, that is fine too.
The most important thing is consistency. Doing a little bit each day over a period of time is way better then trying to do a whole bunch one day and then skipping a few days and repeating that cycle. Remaining consistent and taking the course material a little bit at a time is how you will learn best.
All of those who I have seen learn to code and get jobs, including myself, not only learned the basics but practiced a ton by building projects. So that is what you will need to do. Build the projects not only in the course but also build projects outside of the course. Think of a problem you want to solve and go build a solution. It doesn’t need to be perfect. The goal is to learn and grow. Then build something else and repeat the process.
Hope that helps
