Advise on what next

I just finished the Python Certificate course. This is after a career in engineering education, which included using and teaching a variety of languages, from FORTRAN through more modern discrete time simulation languages, and dabbling in Visual Basic and VBA. In retirement now, looking to get better understanding of uses of AI. I am looking at the content of Data Analysis with Python and Machine Learning with Python. Other Python courses seem too duplicative (Scientific Computing with Python) or not advanced enough (College Algebra, Legacy Python). Any advice?

there is an introductory course in AI offered by CS50 here:

It is free if you do not care about getting an official certificate (you can audit it)
I would suggest taking at look at that and seeing if you are looking for something more complex or if it is just the right set of info to get you started.

Looks interesting. Do you know how this compares with the Machine Learning with Python course here?

I think they are very different. The CS50 one is an intro course so it talks about a number of different topics in AI, unlike the ML one which is just one aspect of AI.

Thanks for your help. I will look into the CS50 courses, then return here for more.
