After a wide journey of learn programming

i started learn programming for more than 5 years,
i started with wrong way/ ways and wrong idea from commercials that i will get my dream job for less than half a year,

after a walk in the journey, i got shocked with the fact,

the joruney isn’t that easy, i felt despair much

then i back after sometime to back to the dream

then after sometime i got despair again then i back again

when i knew fCC curriculum i felt i started on the right way finally

after i solved many challenges and i felt i honed my programming skills,

but now i feel iam lost, i donno what should i do, i feel hard when i try data structures and algorithms lessons and react framework lessons

i started to feel hard and i donno what to do

iam lost :frowning:

there are many dificulities that i can’t pass,

something like recursion, DSA and when i started with react i met hard with useHook and those things

plus i donno what to do next

i need to hone my skills then build my own portfolio or i build my portfolio then hone my skills then rebuild it

i feel despair much :frowning:

You are overwhelming yourself. Pick one thing and start with that.

I’d suggest getting out of “tutorial hell” and building a simple useful project for yourself.

You can use what you know, and learn what you need to in order to complete the project.

Most likely you will not need recursion, DSA or react at all.

thanks very much,iam always lacking to guidence skills, this is one from my weaknesses
