Alice.org for creation and learning

Have you ever used Alice to create a game or feature, if so what was your experience?
Is there another platform like it that’s better or easier and still free?

I would like to start making games, and since I’m new to coding I’m looking for a platform I can learn from while also creating.

You could play around with scratch.io.

And if you are learning HTML, CSS, JS, then you can learn how to use <canvas> to build some games. It’s alot of fun just learning how to do things.
