Your code is fine make sure you read carefully. As the prompt says – Create an a element that links to http://freecatphotoapp.com and has “cat photos” as its anchor text. { your text says “catphotos”. } there are no need for quotes or period i hope this solves your issue :slight_smile:

thank you for your response it worked how can something so minor be such a pain? no quotes no period and one space was the reason I did not get it at first :slightly_frowning_face:

I am very new to this and just started learning basics on HTML and CSS and tiny example of javascript on 10-day free skillcrush bootcamp, one javascript example on codeacademy. and started a project that went wrong on general assembly dash free online dash.co excercises
