I’ve played older versions of Fifa and PES in the PS2 and 360 days. They were a lot of fun, especially on the same team against the CPU. I never got too into any of the more realistic sports games, and have always enjoyed the more arcade-y titles like NBA Jam and NFL Blitz.
Now that the World Cup is on, I’ve started playing Super Mario Strikers. It’s been great so far, and wish I could play with my old high school buddies. One of them had a pretty big plasma at home, which was perfect for local multiplayer gaming.
I used to play a lot of Fifa in the PlayStation 2. I still remember hours flying by as I played the matches and the narrators who said funny lines when I scored a goal. Really nice memories.
