I’ve heard about Elixir a few months back but never bothered looking into it. I regret not trying it out sooner.
It’s such an enjoyable language to work with and I’m surprised that it’s not more popular than it currently is. I’ve always thought that functional programming is too arcane and complex for someone like me; it turns out that it’s not difficult, it’s just a different way of doing things.
Then again, I’m still a beginner so my assessment might be different once I progress further.
