Education
Graduated in 2024 in Automobile Engineering. Have been learning Web Development since jan 2023.
Honestly, The reason for not finding automobile jobs because doing automobile engineering was just for degree, I had been trying to learn other technologies since the begineering of course(2020) tried ios app development, java, c++, python but then found web development little understandable and great fit for me.
I have looked at your linkedin and resume and my general impression is that you have learned a lot of languages and tools but not have done a good job explaining how were able to use that knowledge to solve problems and how you would be able to add value and create impact on a job. Also, I think you have a lot of missed opportunities on your linkedin too.
Here are some general notes about your linkedin
Under experience, you list that you have been freelancing for 3 years.
But you haven’t listed anything that you have done in that section.
What have you been working on?
What kinds of problems where you able to solve?
What kind of value were you able to add to those clients?
What kind of impact did you leave for those clients and how do you help build their products and services?
But another thing missing is client testimonials.
The most powerful section on a linkedin is the recommendation section.
This is the place where people can vouch for your work and explain the impact you left on them.
Hiring manages and recruiters like to look at stuff like this.
Another thing that needs to be enhanced is your featured section
This is the place where you can display the work you have done in the past.
Right, the only thing showing in that section is an appreciation post for someone else.
I highly suggesting looking at Danny Thompson’s linkedin series on ways to optimize your profile so you can become more visible to recruiters and hiring managers
As for your resume, you haven’t mentioned your freelance work.
If you have been freelancing this whole time, you need to talk about that and the types of problems you solved and the value you created for your clients.
Also, you need to work on your project descriptions.
Here is one of your project descriptions:
This project uses only html, css & js to make frontend latest movies surfing & searching website that uses OMDB API.
That doesn’t inspire me to want to learn more about this project.
It is coming across as a tutorial project. Tutorials are nice for learning but it doesn’t help to list them when you are looking for a job.
Here is another one of your descriptions:
Gigs Platform: a dynamic gigs platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (Laravel), and MySQL, enhancing user engagement and transaction efficiency.
I don’t know what enhancing user engagement and transaction efficiency means.
So that could be explained better
I would suggest reading though these articles to help you update your resume:
What kind of feedback did you get?
If you can learn from why you didn’t advance to the next rounds and get the offers, then you will be able to use that information in future interviews
