Attach a Fallback value to a CSS Variable-01

Tell us what’s happening:
Well, I am just using the same coding as shown: " background: var(–penguin-skin, black); "
In the indicated classes: penguin-top, and penguin-bottom, but somehow it’s not working
And my Dark Reader browser add-on is off this time

Your code so far

So, I have tried it and I have passed the test with no problem.

Since, it is not the browser add-on, have you tried it in the other browser? This way if you do manage to pass, at least you will know if this could be browser-related issue or not. I used the Chrome browser and I also have a dark reader extension too (which was turned off).

PS: I forgot to ask what browser are you using? In case it’s not the same and I could test it out for you

Thanks for trying Madalena.
The problem was not the browsers, but rather my head.
Instead of just adding “, black” to the already existing background element, I created a new one altogether
It’s all good now

Thanks again

Wow, that seems a hassle though! :open_mouth:

And you are welcome. I am just glad to hear that you have managed to solved this, despite the experience.

I wish you all the best!
