Challenge: Use Attribute Selectors to Style Elements

Link to the challenge:

Look closely at the first error message you are getting:

The type attribute selector should be used to select the checkboxes.

What type are you selecting?

Is it not the radio/checkboxes? This for the indoor/outdoor selections. I think I am little confused by what they mean on select the checkboxes because I associated that ID with radio.

Radio buttons and checkboxes both use the <input> element but they are differentiated by the type attribute. In the CSS you posted above, which type are you selecting for? What type do checkboxes have?

So the input type I have is the radio, assuming you mean the input type=radio?

Right, you are currently selecting for a radio button. Checkboxes use a different type. Look in the HTML to see what they use. That’s what you want to use in the CSS.

I figured it out, thank you!

This was really nicely explained.
