Not sure where I am going wrong as far as adding the alt link? Directions not too clear, sadly. I am very new at this. Thanks in advance for your help.

You simply need to remove the > before the alt attribute :

Look at the second example given, there is no > between the two attribute (src and alt).

That was just the second example from the instructions.

Your code here was fine :

You just need to remove the > , that is before the alt attribute :
