to nest = to put inside of

an anchor element uses this type of tag <a></a>

to ‘nest’ an anchor element inside a paragraph:
you must place the <a></a> tags inside the <p></p> tags.

eg. <p><a></a></p>

It is likely the paragraph with have text within, and you only want to anchor a part of it.
in the example below the word ‘some’ is an anchor:

<p>This is <a>some</a> dummy text.</p>

words between the anchor tags will display as coloured text with an under line. words outside the anchor tags will remain as normal.
