I am keep getting this error message: There should be only one footer tag on your page.
The footer tag should have an id attribute set to “footer”.

#2

You have zero footer elements. You have an h2 element with the id “footer”.

#3

Thanks, but I tried with id = “footer” instead of

and still its not working. Could you please suggest what should I add or remove?

#4

“add an id attribute with a value of “footer” to the element at the bottom of the page.”

the original code had footer tag at the bottom add the id to that.

#5

I did add the id attribute at the bottom of the page where the footer tag was in the original code but still it’s not working
id = “footer”

#6

What is your current code?

#7

If you scroll up, I have posted my code. Only change I made is that instead of "

, now I have id=“footer”.

#8

sorry, but I am not able to type the syntax of the entire code as system just truncates some of the coding. Please check the “Link to the challenge” for my most recent change.

Thanks everyone for trying helping me out. Somehow I found my error. :sweat_smile
