Basic JavaScript - Counting Cards

Tell us what’s happening:

I’m can’t integrate card sequence 2, j , 9, 2, 7 and 2, 2, 10 as it becomes unstable with the other conditions

Your code so far

let count = 0;

function cc(card) {
  // Only change code below this line
switch (card){
  case 2:
  case 3:
  case 4:
  case 5:
  case 6:
    count++;
    return "5 Bet";
  case 10:
  case 'J':
  case 'Q':
  case 'K':
  case 'A':
    count--;
      break;

} if (count > 0){
  return count + " " + " Bet";
} else {
  return count + " " + "Hold";
}

  return "Change Me";
  // Only change code above this line
}

cc(2); cc(3); cc(7); cc('K'); cc('A');

Basic JavaScript - Counting Cards

You have an extra space before Bet.

Your code will pass the tests. But why did you explicitly return 5 Bet ?
shouldn’t it be returned from the if condition at the end ?

Thank you for pointing this out. I really should get some sleep
