Basic JavaScript: Golf Code,

**can i create a loop for this?, **
.```
i passed the challenge with this “if else” statements , but i wanted to create a loop for this, and didn’t know how.

**Your code so far**

```js
var names = ["Hole-in-one!", "Eagle", "Birdie", "Par", "Bogey", "Double Bogey", "Go Home!"];
function golfScore(par, strokes) {
// Only change code below this line
if (strokes == 1) {
return names[0]
} else if (strokes <= par - 2) {
return names[1]
} else if (strokes == par - 1 ) {
return names[2]
} else if (strokes == par) {
return  names[3]
} else if (strokes == par + 1) {
return  names[4]
} else if (strokes == par + 2) {
return  names[5]
} else {
return names [6]
}
// Only change code above this line
}
// Change these values to test
golfScore(5, 4);
I’m not sure how a loop would be helpful. How do you picture it helping?
i am not sure, i’m a beginner, so , i i thought that would be some kinda a loop,LOL
Well, for a loop you would be doing the same thing over a range of input values. Is that what you are doing here?
