Tell us what’s happening:

the array for 0,1,2 are running but from par to go home my use cases are not able to run.

Your code so far

const names = ["Hole-in-one!", "Eagle", "Birdie", "Par", "Bogey", "Double Bogey", "Go Home!"];

function golfScore(par, strokes) {
  // Only change code below this line
  if(strokes == 1 ){
    return names[0];
  }
  else if(strokes <= par-2){
    return names[1];
  }
   else if(strokes = par -1){
    return names[2];
   }
 else if(strokes == par){
    return names[3];
  }
  else if(strokes == par + 1){
    return names[4];
  }
  else if(strokes == par + 2){
    return names[5];
  }
  else if(strokes >= par + 3){
    return names[6];
  }
  // Only change code above this line
}

Hello!
That being said, on your second else if you put only 1 = which corresponds to assignation, and not to equality, add a second one and it should be working :slight_smile:
Good luck!

edit: not in the wrong subforum anymore :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi there. It seems to have been fixed now. :slight_smile:
