Basic JavaScript - Nesting For Loops

Hi!

I need help to understand why I have an error on my code, please.

I cannot figure out why I have this error message: “TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘length’)”.

Thanks!!

Your code so far

function multiplyAll(arr) {
  let product = 1;
  // Only change code below this line
for (let i = 0; i < multiplyAll.length; i++) {
  for (let j = 0; j < multiplyAll[i].length; j++) {
    product *= multiplyAll[i][j];
  // Only change code above this line
  }
}
  return product;

}

multiplyAll([[1, 2], [3, 4], [5, 6, 7]]);

You are using the function name here (and elsewhere), but you should be using the array which is passed to the function instead.

Your first line function multiplyAll(arr) shows that multiplyAll is a function and you are going to use an argument called arr.

Given the above, have another look at your code and see if you can spot the errors
