problem: After updateRecords(recordCollection, 2468, "tracks", "Free") tracks should have the string 1999 as the first element.
where I made a mistake?

The issue is your logic with these two else/if blocks. Read the last bullet point in the instructions carefully and see if you can figure it out. Hint: you will most likely want to combine these two blocks into one.
