Basic JavaScript - Understanding Case Sensitivity in Variables

Tell us what’s happening:
Describe your issue in detail here.
whenever i am trying to change it to camel case it shows an error that the names are not defined

Your code so far

// Variable declarations
var StUdLyCapVaR;
var properCamelCase;
var TitleCaseOver;

// Variable assignments
STUDLYCAPVAR = 10;
PRoperCAmelCAse = "A String";
tITLEcASEoVER = 9000;

Challenge: Basic JavaScript - Understanding Case Sensitivity in Variables

Link to the challenge:

Modify the existing declarations and assignments so their names use camelCase.

You need to modify both the variable declarations and then their assignments too.
You will see errors pop up in the console as you change them, but the errors should disappear once you have correctly renamed all six of them.

You need to change both your defined variables and your decelerations so that they are proper camel case. This means that except for the first word each word starts with a capital letter.
Ex:

var CamelCase;
CamelCase = "HI";

i defined everything like this
" // Variable declarations
var stulyCapvar;
var properCamelCase;
var titleCaseOver;

// Variable assignments
stulyCapvar = 10;
properCamelCase = “A String”;
titleCaseOver = 9000; "

and the error i am getting is
// running tests

studlyCapVar

should be defined and have a value of

10

.

studlyCapVar

should use camelCase in both declaration and assignment sections. // tests completed

The instructions requested this but you have

Should be studlyCapVar.
Btw welcome to the community :smiley:!

did
but again getting the same error

studlyCapVar

should be defined and have a value of

10

.

studlyCapVar

should use camelCase in both declaration and assignment sections.

and thanks

@JeremyLT Sorry, didn’t realize you answered…
Was to focused on the code :laughing:!

studlyCapVar = 10;
