Best way to study for freecodecamp exam?

How do the exams work? Are they similar to the quizzes we get at the end of each section? Are the questions similar to that? Should I just make python flashcards based off the Python review section? My memory is really bad and honestly I heard a lot of coding is “searching up the answer” but I think I have relied on that too much. I’m a bit worried I won’t do well on the exam. Repetition and flashcards it is then?

Also how is the proctoring? How does that work? Do you guys need a face camera ?

It will answer many of your questions.

Yes. Go ahead and try it out to see what it’s like and break the ice. If you fail you can study and do it again later.

I think this would be a good strategy.

Don’t worry about it. Nothing bad will happen if you fail an attempt.

No. The exams are reviewed by a human later.

Thanks for answering! I am pretty erratic with exams (always have been at school). Some questions will be easy for me and others I will struggle with and keep switching around answers. This is very reassuring. Thanks again.

The app also includes a Practice Exam with five questions, which lasts two minutes. It has no effect and can be retaken as many times as you like.

that is to see how the exam app works, it’s not good to study

Do you know what a passing score for the exam is?

At this time it should be 80% in all exams, but it’s something that can be changed or be different in future exams.
