Browser Problem?

Tell us what’s happening:

I literally copied the solution from the get hint section (which was exactly my answer I might add) and it still doesn’t work.

I want to see if its possibly a problem with my browser. I’ve had to change from Safari to Chrome with that one cat sizing exercise everyone was having problems with.

Your code so far

<style>
 :root {
   --red-color: red;
 }
 .red-box {
   background: red;
   background: var(--red-color);
   height: 200px;
   width:200px;
 }
</style>
<div class="red-box"></div>

Your browser information:

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/85.0.4183.121 Safari/537.36.

I went back to Safari and it works. :upside_down_face:

The above code works. Do you have any browser extensions (such as an adblock or a theme)?

I don’t think I do on the Chrome browser and I have the Honey extension on my Safari one

Your code passes for me on a up-to-date version of Chrome without extensions. It’s possible that your browser got into a funky state or something.

Thanks my chrome was out of date!

I’m glad it got figured out. Happy coding!
