Build a Cat Photo App - Step 40

Hi there,
The lesson asks you to:

Add the lang attribute with the value en to the opening html tag to specify that the language of the page is English.

The lang is an attribute, not an element. Attributes are added inside HTML tags like this: name="value".

You’re not quite following that yet. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Remove <lang>en</lang> — that’s incorrect.
  2. Add the lang attribute directly to the opening <html> tag.
  3. Set its value to "en".

This should get you back on track. Let me know if you need more help! :+1:
