I was trying to make my conditional statements work but they doesn’t work well. I wanna know how to fix it

        return 'The price should be a number'

        return 'The discount should be a number'
    elif price <= 0:
        return 'The price should be greater than 0'
    elif discount < 0 or discount > 100:
        return 'The discount should be between 0 and 100'
    else:
        return price - discount

I think you if statement is not well precise,
now the “or” divides them into two statements,
parentheses will be your friend, check it :slight_smile:

This if statement is evaluating two conditions: 1) type(price) != int, and 2) float. Look at how you structured your if statement to make sure discount is between 0 and 100. Each condition is separated by the or operator.

You could also use isinstance for this if statement.
