Tell us what’s happening:

There is absolutely no problem in my code, but the freeCodeCamp code editor is GLITCHED. The javascript is not even recognizing me assign variables to code. Help??

You have a syntax error.

Look carefully at the example code on how to reassign a let variable.

let name = "John";
console.log(name); // "John"

name = "Jane";
console.log(name); // "Jane"

declaring the same variable twice is an error, the editor is right
