I can pass the autotest with just the HTML markup despite many criteria requiring JS and CSS. In fact, with a blank pen I still can pass two criteria:
- On first load, my quote machine displays a random quote in the element with id=“text”.
- On first load, my quote machine displays the random quote’s author in the element with id=“author”.
I suppose this is a bug, otherwise, the test would be too easy.
Thank you, for taking the time to mention this.
It appears this is a bug, and a fix is being discussed:
Hey I really appreciate it. Hope my programming skill will be good enough to contribute back to the community soon.
Out of curiosity I took a look at your pull request and I think it should also mention tests 8 & 9.
As you can see in my example here https://codepen.io/phuocphamir/pen/RwVYRZN, it shouldn’t pass tests 8&9 but it does.
Also, #Layout test 1 (The #quote-box wrapper element should be horizontally centered.) will pass if I don’t set the width of #quote-box (so it fills the whole view width) so I don’t think it’s a good test criterion.
Thank you for your time.
