Tell us what’s happening:

I’m on the step of adding the comment after the shebang, at the very beginning, and no matter what I do (removing the file, creating the file, re-instating permissions), I can’t type anything into student_info.sh. I can apparently copy-paste into it, and “resetting” the step works well to bring me forward, but without the ability to press enter or type, i can’t really move forward.

what environment are you working in? codespaces, ona, locally? if locally, please share your device specs

codespaces, and i managed to finish that but am running into the same problem with “Build a Kitty Ipsum Translator”
