Build a Travel Weather Planner - Build a Travel Weather Planner

Tell us what’s happening:

I am failing on checks 18, 19, and 23. I’ve tried playing with my inputs to match each of the scenarios described, and I get the expected output. I’ve also run the code through a visualizer to make sure I’m jumping down the conditional chain correctly, and I think I am.

Any nudge in the right direction? Thank you!

Your code so far

distance_mi = 3.5
is_raining = True
has_bike = False
has_car = False
has_ride_share_app = False
if distance_mi <=0:
    print(False)
elif distance_mi <= 1 and is_raining == False:
    print(True)
elif (distance_mi >1 or distance_mi <= 6) and has_bike == True and is_raining == False:
    print(True)
elif distance_mi > 6 and has_car == True or has_ride_share_app == True:
    print(True)
else:
    print(False)

Welcome to the forum @Manowar,

Won’t this pick up any value of distance_mi that is less than or equal 6?

What does this print if the variables are as follows:

distance_mi = 0.5
is_raining = True
has_bike = False
has_car = False
has_ride_share_app = True

Happy coding

Thank you! Got it. :smiley:
