Build a Tribute Page

1.Objective: Build a CodePen.io app that is functionally similar to this: https://codepen.io/FreeCodeCamp/full/NNvBQW/.

Can we have extra features or it needs to look exactly same?

2.User Story: I can view a tribute page with an image and text.

By Image with text did they mean caption? or timeline?

Please check out my codepen and tell me whether I have fulfilled the user stories or not?

  1. Im pretty that in the pointers for this challenge there is a mention about “not copying exactly” and “giving it your own flavor”. Basically you can add anything you want, as long as it passes the provided user stories.

  2. Image and text. In any combination.

I can’t find that point. These are the entire user stories:

  1. Objective: Build a CodePen.io app that is functionally similar to this: https://codepen.io/FreeCodeCamp/full/NNvBQW/.

  2. Fulfill the below user stories. Use whichever libraries you need. Give it your own personal style.

  3. User Story: I can view a tribute page with an image and text.

  4. User Story: I can click on a link that will take me to an external website with further information on the topic.

  5. Remember to use Read-Search-Ask if you get stuck.

  6. When you are finished, click the “I’ve completed this challenge” button and include a link to your CodePen.

  7. You can get feedback on your project by sharing it with your friends on Facebook.

Eh, it used to be there. Apparently they removed it along with the “Don’t look at the example’s code” pointer. Don’t really understand why.

May be because I would have collapsed If it wasn’t the case :smile: Making changes to timeline of religious figures is not easy. It had 30+ points. Giving personal flavor to each would be hard.

In my opinion you more than fulfilled them. A great tribute page! The animated chronology is particularly nice.
