Buttons ticked by default not working

Seems like there is some device issue with this challenge (iPad). Not sure what the problem is. I tried on lambdatest with an iPad pro and it worked. I also tried an iPad air but the keyboard input didn’t work so I gave up.

I’m using an ipad mini to go through these courses and I am consistently having problems with the website’s IDE recognizing my code. I am using a Safari browser but also tried the Chrome browser getting the same results. I have checked this same coding in a separate HTML app and the code runs fine.
