Hey! attributes or properties are a way for us to provide additional information to the tag for example:

if you just want a user to enter some text then you can use a simple input element like this.

<input />

however, if you want the user to enter specific types of values like numbers or passwords then you have to add the type property to your input element like this.

//here type is an attribute

<input type="number" />
<input type="password" />
<input type="color" />
