Can i promote my open source project on YT Channel?

Hello Community,

I have been building an open-source project for quite a while now. I was wondering if the FreeCodeCamp YouTube channel allows posting a video about using that open-source tool/library/framework in web development. It would be more like a crash course on that tool/library/framework, so others can learn and use it if they want to.

I couldn’t find any related topics or similar results, and I was wondering—since it’s more like promoting your own project with the help of FreeCodeCamp and we have no intention to monetize it in the future—what the possibilities are?

I am not sure about this, but that is considered a ‘promotion’ on the forum and it’s not allowed. I am uncertain whether the same policy governs FCC YT but for the time I have using FCC YouTube I have not come across such. I have only come across educational content.
