Can I reclaim my Legacy Responsive Web Design V8 certification with an updated date?

Hello freeCodeCamp Support Team,

I have a question regarding my Legacy Responsive Web Design V8 certification.

I completed and claimed this certification on March 30, 2025. I am currently completing a programming internship as part of my higher education program, and my educational institution requires the certification to have a date within the current internship period.

They specifically require the Legacy Responsive Web Design V8 certification, so I cannot use the newer version of the certification for this requirement.

I would like to know if there is any official way to reclaim or reissue my Legacy Responsive Web Design V8 certification so that it has a new, current certification date.

If necessary, I am willing to complete the final project again. I am not trying to alter or falsify my original certificate. I simply need to know whether freeCodeCamp provides an official procedure to obtain an updated certification date for the same Legacy V8 certification.

My current certification shows:

Certification: Responsive Web Design
Version: V8 / Legacy
Date: March 30, 2025

Could you please let me know if there is a way to obtain an updated certification date while keeping the Legacy V8 certification?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Facundo

the only way I know of is to reset the account and redo the final projects again

you can try to write to support@freecodecamp.org, but it’s possible there is no other way
