Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Hi there, What you did is correct. however, the problem is, you created a new sentence “link to cat pictures” and turned it into a link. the exercise asks you to the words “cat photos” into a link. Is it clear?

I apologize, I misinterpreted your answer. In line 8 you see the “link to cat pictures” phrase turned into a link. what you need to do is to turn the “cat photos” phrase in line 7 into a link in the same way. when we click on this link we specify the new site to go to with the href attribute. you used the cat photos phrase for this reference. instead the words “cat photos” should still be visible and when clicked it should go to “

This is what you should see on your preview screen. I hope I helped you this time

Thank you so much for helping me.

I tried to correct to code, but I don’t understand how to put “in our gallery” after the link. Can you still help me with that?

You don’t need to write any new words. convert the words “cat photos” already in the sentence into a link. the only new things you need to add are the “a” element and the “href” attribute to it. I can write the answer directly if you want.

Okay. Thank you for letting me know. It would be great, if you would have time to write the answer directy to me.

We didn’t give actual code to anyone, because it’s is against the rule. We provide only guide or example.
Here’s example

<p>some text <a attribute="value">main text</a> some more text</p>

Sorry, I did not know it was against the rules.

Thank you both very much for your help. I didn’t know it was against the rules either. Sorry about this.
