This is also ok:

the standard is to not use the / for self-closing elements

The solution is this:

Replace this part of your code:

<img src = " https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat"  alt ="  relaxing cat ">

For this one:

<img src = "https://www.bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat"  alt ="  relaxing cat ">

It should work then. Apparently the freecodecamp test is validating the exact URL of the image.

I would also avoid using extra spaces between attributes and values, and inside the values themselves. The code should look like this:

<img src="https://www.bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat"  alt="relaxing cat ">
