Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong here?

I can’t spot my error. It says my time tags are not wrapped around the right text. I’m not sure how else I can do this. please help.

Try something like this: It looks like some of the syntax was wrong because you have an extra quote ( " ) between the SUP tag and the closing time tag.

  <time datetime="2016-09-15">Thursday, September 15<sup>th</sup> </time>. May the best ninja win!

<time datetime="2016-09-15"></time> should wrap around the text "Thursday, September 15<sup>th</sup>"
so look at this:
