Can't recover my progress, username, account

Hello!

I used to work on my FreeCodeCamp progress via a GitHub login, but I had to change my primary email on Github because I lost my access to my old email. Now I tried to login once again and all my progress is gone and shows as I have just registered. If I try to change my Username on FreeCodeCamp it says it is already taken. My assumption is that the site thinks I am a new Github user because of the changed email right?

Can we somehow recover my lost account progress and name (profile informations)? The account name is the same as I have here in the forums.

are you able to use the previous email for a last log in? then you can change your email in the freecodecamp account settings.

If not, you must write to support@freecodecamp.org and provide proof that it is your account so that they can give you access to the old one

No. The system sends a login code but I have no longer access to that email. Thanks for the contact. What should I provide as proof? ID and invoice about this email address that I was the owner is sufficent?
