Challenge in Codepen works only with old versions of React Redux

Hello.
I migrated the code from the last React+Redux challenge to Codepen so I can play a bit.
What I don’t understand is why the code works only with old versions of React+Redux (5.0.7) but not with the most recent one.

Can somebody explain me why?

upgrade your react and react-dom cdns to the latest codepen has too (>16.8.4)
