This is the challenge…my code is:

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
  }

  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: Monospace;
  }

  .smaller-image{
    width = 100px;
  }
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<img class = "smaller-image" src='//discourse-user-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/original/3X/6/1/61a3499c5abb165be990aa0c1abd23342e60c663.jpg' alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p class="red-text">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>

I honestly tried a lot like creating a whole new css style decorator and putting it before and after calling the img, changing the position of the class = “” part. The posts in the hint section are not helpful and contradict each other…honestly im kind of fed up at this point. The explanation is really bad and unhelpful.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into the forum, precede it with a line of three backticks and follow it with a line of three backticks to make easier to read. See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Look at your smaller-image declaration. You did not set the value of width correctly.
