Change email when old email no longer exists

well, this is on behalf of my wife, she’s changed her email and the old email used for FreeCodeCamp has gone, so she can no longer log in to retrieve her certificates.
How can we update her email address and retrieve the certifications?

Welcome there,

A Camper’s profile is entirely linked to their email address.

Some options might be:

  1. If the old email address is linked with Google, GitHub, or Apple, then she might be able to log in using one of those methods.
  2. If your wife still has an active session on a machine, then she could open freecodecamp.org and continue a logged-in session there.
  3. Contact support@freecodecamp.org with the information you have, and it might be possible to link your wife to her account. Emphasis on MIGHT, because without 100% assurity your wife is the owner, we will not do anything.

Once logged in, an email address can be changed in https://freecodecamp.org/settings

Many thanks for your help!
It was a private domain which has now gone, so its not feasible to re-log in since it sends an email to that address to confirm.
Plus she’s got a new PC so no active sessions.
Its not a big deal I think she only had one or two certificates, and she saved them a images anyway, so she’ll just go ahead and create a new account with her Outlook email address. Hopefully outlook wont go anywhere :joy:
